This solitaire Ruby pendant features an antique facetted ruby bead. The stone weighs 1.12 carats, Burma in origin, with no heat treatment. The ruby is a deep red color and would have been originally used as a bead in a Moghul Empire piece of jewelry. The drilled hole is still visible but not obvious when worn. It is now in a delicate scalloped prong setting that is hand-fabricated in solid 18k old gold.
Measures .25″ in drop length and .35″ wide. Hanging on an 18″ modern 18k gold chain.
