Originally the center of a large flower brooch and converted into a pendant necklace. The unusual flat proportions of the stone make the stone appear larger than its weight, facing up more like a 2 carat stone. Hanging on a modern 14k gold cable link chain. Diamond and setting, English in origin. Circa 1860.
